The Princess Highway Design Initiative (20C321) forms part of South Australia’s broader infrastructure program to improve road safety, traffic efficiency, and regional connectivity. Delivered by the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) in collaboration with AECOM, the project focused on planning and design upgrades to key sections of the highway network.
Package 8 included the planning and design of upgrades to five overtaking lanes and three intersections, requiring coordinated stakeholder engagement across government, technical teams, and impacted communities.
I led the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies for the Princess Highway Design Initiative, ensuring alignment between project objectives, stakeholder expectations, and delivery requirements. This included establishing engagement frameworks, policies, and procedures to support effective communication and decision-making throughout the planning and design phases.
